Get Microsoft Office for Mac or Windows For Life for $30 – Lifehacker

Microsoft 365 isn’t the only way to get apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. If you want the latest updates and the option to install on multiple devices, then 365 is the way to go. If you just need the full suite of apps on one computer, then you can avoid that monthly fee.
Now through July 17, you can get a lifetime license for Microsoft Office Home and Business for Mac, or Microsoft Office Professional 2021 for Windows, for $30. This sale ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on July 17.
Whether you get the Mac or Windows license, you’ll be allowed to install the whole suite of apps on one computer and use it forever—but only on that machine. If you switch computers often or have multiple devices, Microsoft 365 might be a better way to go. But if you’re a student or professional who does most of their work on one computer and don’t plan to upgrade soon, it could be a more economical option.
The Mac license comes with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams (Basic), and OneNote. The Windows version comes with the same apps, except it gets the free version of Teams and also comes with Publisher and Access.
Check your computer compatibility before purchasing. The Mac version requires macOS Big Sur Version 11 or Monterey Version 12. Windows users need to have Windows 10 or 11. (If you need an upgrade, pick up a key for Windows 11 Pro.)
You can stop paying subscription fees for apps you use every day. Until July 17, take advantage of these lifetime MS Office deals:
Microsoft Office Professional 2021 for Windows: Lifetime License, on sale for $30 (though prices may change at any time)
Microsoft Office Home & Business for Mac 2021: Lifetime License, on sale for $30 (though prices may change at any time)
