The Microsoft Power BI app received a bit of a brand refresh today with a minor update for the Android, Windows 10, and iOS apps that added a new, and long overdue, app icon.
The new app icon (see above image) retains the column design element from the original but uses the newer design aesthetic that was introduced a couple of years ago and is now evident in the majority of Microsoft’s apps and services.
With the exception of the new icon, the app updates themselves were quite small and contained only the usual bug fixes on Windows 10 and Android. The iOS app update did add support for notch displays however.
