Yammer users on the two leading mobile platforms have received a new update focused on improving the experience.

has rolled out a pair of updates for Yammer this week, bumping the application on iOS and devices. Unfortunately, neither of the updates offered anything new in terms of features. Instead, Microsoft focused on squashing bugs and performance improvements.

Here’s the official release notes:
Yammer on iOS is available from the App Store here.
On the Android side of the mobile platform market, Yammer received typical bug squashes and “cosmetic improvements”.  As usual, Microsoft has not detailed what those improvements were or what bugs were fixed. You can download the app for Android here.
If you are unfamiliar with Yammer, it gives users the ability to connect with others across an organization. It promotes working in collaboration and sharing ideas. Microsoft acquired Yammer in 2012 for $1.2 billion and has integrated the business social network into its services.
In September last year, Microsoft launched a new Yammer experience on iOS and Android. The company focused on a new user experience following a wider feature update in the summer.
Microsoft’s new design centered on a new bubble UI that organizes conversation replies and a new “Read more” option.
Microsoft says the new card-based design allows users to focus on the most important conversations. Indeed, Yammer has had a redesign in its content feed, including new icons, fonts, colors, and formatting.
